Fitness and the regular exercise of our bodies has always been a necessary form of healthcare.  As lifestyles and modern society have evolved, it’s a sad but ever so prevalent occurrence that in both adults and children alike, a noticeable decline in sporting activities has been replaced by a more sedentary lifestyle, surrounding by technology and desk bound work.  As my home town of London gets ready to host the 2012 Olympics, I’ve been fortunate to share with you a ‘sneek peek’ of what it really takes to compete as a semi-pro athlete at national level.  Over the coming weeks Fernando Chavez will be sharing all his top tips and behind the scenes secrets as he prepares to compete in the forthcoming Mr Mexico Bodybuilding competition.  His updates will provide a fascinating insight into the world of fitness, highlighting his personal opinions regarding nutrition, gym based workouts and the psychological dedication it takes to compete at international level.
